La Gaulette has been part of my life since childhood. I have been coming here for as long as I can remember — and over the years I have watched this little village on the west coast of Mauritius grow into one of the most exciting spots on the island. Creating 5 Spots Studio was a natural next step: a way to share this place I love with people from all over the world.
I am a sportsman at heart — kitesurfing, trail running, mountain biking, hiking, and yes, the occasional round of golf. I understand what it means to travel somewhere specifically for the outdoors, to want a comfortable base that lets you live fully and not just pass through. That is exactly what I have tried to build at 5 Spots.
What I enjoy most is meeting my guests, understanding where they come from and what drives them. I love showing people my island — the hidden trails, the best kite conditions, the quiet beaches most tourists never find. If you want local tips, I am always happy to share. Mauritius is a place I am deeply proud of, and I want every guest to leave feeling the same way.
